Vigilance Study Circle was established in Hyderabad on July 07, 2003 and was inaugurated by the Central Vigilance Commissioner.

Vigilance Executives perform a vital role in promoting ethics and probity in organizations and assisting them to achieve a good image and excellence. To provide a Forum for Vigilance Executives for sharing their experiences and expertise, a Vigilance Study Circle (VSC) was established at Hyderabad in July, 2003. 30/35 Vigilance Executives are meeting regularly once a month and are holding discussions on professional matters. VSC was registered on 4th July, 2006 under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 with Registration No. 1084/2006. A nominal life membership fee of Rs. 1,000 for individuals and Rs 10,000 for organizations is collected while students and eminent persons are admitted free. Eminent experts on vigilance are invited to address the members and live cases are discussed.

The mission of Vigilance Study Circle is to spread Vigilance awareness and develop the knowledge and skills of Vigilance Professionals. We shall endeavour to strengthen the hands of CVC in combating the ever increasing corruption in the country.

A VSC was formed in Bangalore in 2007. Steps are being taken to start a VSC in Kolkata very soon.
